In TRACO Weesp gewerkt aan een reactie op ZenBoxen. Na WimVonk's bloembedjes van schroefjes ,voorwerpjes op de houten vloer, waar ooit stellingkasten van een bedrijf stonden, via filmpje van Ee Damen met blauw dopje, schaduw en rood lijntje kwam MartinedeJong echt de ruimte in, volgde MarjavanPutten haar antwoord aan de wand en terug op klosjes garen, waarna Annechien Verheij haar lijntje tussen 2 kinderstoeltjes ruggelings aan het eind boven een gelaagd blaadjesbed hing. Vera de Groot vervolgens stopte het in een doos, een vrouwendoos, tot HermineStam in die doos binnenging en opnieuw begint. Via haar kreeg ik de ruimte ter beschikking welk resulteerd in een half mens /halfdier die op de kop een verstofte doos hooghoudt. Set#serieel was goed project mede dank zij de bedompte ruimte.

SET#SERIEEL installation in estafette (like in the concept of cadavre exquis)

In TRACO Weesp worked on a reaction on ZenBoxen. After  WimVonk's flowerbeds with screws ,objects on a wooden floor ( which once stood cubbards for a compagny), then via asmall film of Ee Damen with blue plastic, shadow and red line came MartinedeJong really in the space up, followed MarjavanPutten her answer to the wall and came back to the box of sewing and textiles,there it was  Annechien Verheij connected her line between 2 childrenchairs turn backwards to the end above a layered bed of leaves. Vera de Groot in her case put it in a paperbxo, womenbox, till HermineStam entered in the box and started a new. From her I got the space to go on, which resulted in a half men /half animal upside down keeping a stuffed box high. Set#serieel was a good project , thanks also to the dence space wher it took place.

Aanleiding is een Ghanese vluchteling met de naam Pe te r  Ar no de Heer

(want Nederland was er ooit kolonizer), die in de Bellamystraat woonde.

De man was actief in de jaren 90 voor onze hulppost ASKV / SVP vlucht en illega zorg.

Hij speelde ook in een band Weku en werkte voor Sikaman , Ghanese belangenorganisatie.
Hij vluchtte destijds omdat hij voorbestemd was een tovenaar/medicijnman te zijn en dat niet was, zei hij. Alleen volgens de overlevering was hij wel voorbestemd. Ze worden tegenwoordig wel minder gewaardeerd, want ze kunnen ook voor slecht nieuws zorgen. Nou ja, ik dacht altijd dat hij de mensen daar achter gelaten had. Natuurlijk liet hij zoals elke vluchteling mensen achter. En daarom wilde ik contact met hem krijgen hoe het nu is.
Hoe hij nu tegen zijn voorbestemd zijn aankijkt. Of hij misschien toch bijzondere gaven heeft. Of hij mij nog kent? Of ik hem nog vind?

Het is een eenvoudige aanleiding vanwege een plek in A'dam voor een dramatische tekst die ieder die iets achter laat of achtergelaten is, kan aanspreken. Vanwege een meestal weloverwogen beslissing, maar soms in een opwelling.

EYE AM oog en straatperspectief en tekst.‘You knew but for got us after all, je wist het maar ver gat ons toch’ in spiegelbeeld. Op zoek naar de Ghanees Peter, die in de jaren 90 vluchtte en in de Bellamystraat woonde, gevlucht voor de rituelen in zijn eigen overlevering via geesten waar hij niet in geloofde. Kan een mens gewoon mens zijn, voorbij het oog? Jazeker, zichtbaarmaken! (reflextion).

Mijn werk zou ik niet willen benoemen als illustratief, laat het liever bij illusie.   Van ruimte (space) en van toeval (hazard) en in de combinatie van realiteit en gevoel, weergegeven door natekenen en de input van de lijn of kras. Hoop ik dat de tekening elke dag weer een beetje nieuw is, net zoals ik een tekening elke dag een beetje nieuw maak.

Sculpture and Lecture ‘Steak Russian Art’

After the slideshows I  found needs to build a sculpture. As in combitation with the expanding of the former USSR/ CCCP and the follow –up  in showing up ,, of the next 30 year leadership of the so-called leaders of those satelite states, we travelled in winterhouses, motels,gastinitze and chai-canna’s. Baracs of all kind, shaslik-cana’s and re- organised picknick places, where you bring/ make your own food and order a coffee and use the toilet.

In these enviroments of self employed, -educated,- contracted people, we found our way through. The food is everywhere the same way, but the people make specially the best out of their places. In comparison  to the retro, neo, post imperial or classical style which are followed by government and real-estate ,  as to be ‘outstanding’ in terms of architecture.

Kindly spoken; the former Russia didn’t distroy all orthodox churches  (Vladimir,Suzdal) and all mosques and palaces and tombs of islamic art (in Samarkant,Khiva,etcetera).  Still there, they inspire our new buildings with gates and towers, with onionroofs and abstract ornaments. Even the lay-out of the spaces, the roads and the  desire to put buildings on its place are not neglected.

As coming through mountainareas with nomadic yurts and winterhouses with colourfull carpets on the wall and on the floor, we can’t escape from the warmth of the people and the obedience to its leaders 20 years of future plans as for all the 4 countries we traveled in 2 different continents, both with the name central;  Central Asia and Central Europe, there is no border on that side of Europe. You can gues where it should be on architectural way, but unluckely or perhaps for some; luckely, wooden beam houses with Ytong walls on the inside now a days …. and ‘whitehouse’parliamental buildings on the other side, are still there.

The sculpture actually represents the direction of the ‘brick and brack, jolly, own’design of owners of that houses , in variation on the type of beamhouses and the highgate  arches with those shapes , which reminds you of palaces and protected living, bookshape, lighter- and castelshape buildings. As in Astana.  It also forms a head and a body, a smiley on a square, a teahouse on the prairy, a petrolstation not completed or a glassbuilding with soundsystem and videoregistration and GPS to tell where it is located, Europe or Asia? Uzbekistan, Kirgistan, Kazagstan or Russia or more refind; Basjkirostan and Tjadikistan and Ural.

It was a pleasure to meet and it is inspiring to go on, on the way that old culture . old states not restraint on what we should go on with;  house- and government constructions, or despite of which religion the people believe in and financial situation they have to handle. No, one day it will be finished; ready. Ingshallah.
